CHEMCAD NXT 1.1.3 is now Available

January 20, 2025, Houston, TX – Chemstations has begun the release of CHEMCAD NXT 1.1.3. The installed version of CHEMCAD NXT and Version 8 are available now in the Customer Portal. The Cloud version will be released in the coming weeks. This update brings a series of important enhancements, particularly focusing on improving CC-THERM's performance and reliability. 

These changes will enable more accurate simulations, better diagnostics, and more robust calculations for heat exchangers and other process units.

Fixes like improved shell-side pressure loss calculations, better handling of tube patterns, and corrected Reynolds number calculations will result in more precise results for users.

Additionally, the updated cost index data, improved error handling, and system authorization fixes will enhance the overall user experience, reduce troubleshooting time, and ensure smoother operation for process design.

Together, these improvements contribute to a more reliable, efficient, and user-friendly CHEMCAD software, making it a more valuable tool for chemical engineers in the design and optimization of complex chemical processes.
